DRUM WORKSHOP REGULATIONS AT THE SILESIAN PLANETARIUM
§ 1
General Provisions
1. These Drum Workshop Regulations (hereinafter: Regulations) pertain to the establishment of rules for conducting drum workshops at the Nicolaus Copernicus Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory in Chorzów, organized by the Organizer for the Participant (hereinafter: Workshops).
2. The Organizer of the Workshops is DRUMSETPRO Przemysław Bajer, Harcerska Street 1, 41-500 Chorzów, VAT ID 627-262-86-78 (hereinafter: Organizer).
3. A Participant is a person taking part in the Workshops who has expressed their willingness to participate in the Workshops and has made a payment for the Workshops (hereinafter: Participant).
4. The Workshops will be held from June 10 to June 13, 2024, at the Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory named after Nicolaus Copernicus in Chorzów,
Planetarium Avenue 4, 41-500 Chorzów.
§ 2
Participation
1. Participants of the Workshops can be individuals of any age.
2. Minors may participate in the Workshops only with prior written consent from their parents or legal guardians. For this purpose, a parent or legal guardian submits a consent statement to the Organizer’s email address specified in § 9 section 3 of the Regulations.
3. The aforementioned consent must be provided to the Organizer before the start of the Workshops.
4. The number of available spots in the Workshops is strictly limited and determined by the Organizer.
5. Participation in the Workshops is determined by the order of online registrations through the registration form available on the website […].
6. If the limit of places is reached, interested individuals will be placed on a waiting list. Registrations should be made to the Organizer’s email address specified in § 9 section 3 of the Regulations.
7. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee participation in the Workshops.
§ 3
Registration and Payment
1. Registration for the Workshops is done through an online registration form available on the website […].
2. The registration form must include the following details for registration:
a) Participant’s full name,
b) Address,
c) Country,
d) Email address,
e) Contact phone number.
3. The fee for the Workshops is PLN 2,500.00 (in words: two thousand five hundred zlotys 00/100) and includes a package of 24 hours of sessions divided over 4 days.
4. All payments will be processed through the PayU system, accessible after completing the registration process.
5. Payment for participation in the Workshops is synonymous with reserving a spot in the Workshops.
6. The Organizer will confirm the reservation of a spot in the Workshops by a separate email, sent after receiving the payment.
7. The Organizer is not responsible for errors made during the payment process due to non-compliance with the payment instructions through the PayU system.
8. Failure to make a payment during the registration process is equivalent to withdrawing from participation in the Workshops.
§ 4
Organizer’s Obligations
1. The Organizer ensures suitable conditions for conducting the Workshops in accordance with applicable safety rules.
2. The Organizer provides equipment and materials necessary for conducting the Workshops.
3. The Organizer provides one hot meal, as well as snacks and drinks each day of the Workshops.
4. The Organizer does not provide accommodation.
5. The Organizer is not responsible for items (money, valuables) left by Participants at the Workshop venue.
6. The Organizer is not responsible for personal injuries resulting from Participants not following safety rules.
7. The Organizer commits to promptly informing Participants about any changes in the Workshop program.
§ 5
Participant’s Obligations
1. Participants are obliged to comply with the provisions of the Regulations.
2. Participants are obliged to follow safety rules during the Workshops.
3. Participants are required to respect the equipment and materials provided to them during the Workshops.
§ 6
Withdrawal
1. The organized Workshops constitute an entertainment and cultural event; therefore, in accordance with Article 38 section 1 item 12 of the Act of May 30, 2014, on consumer rights, the right to withdraw from the contract does not apply.
2. A Participant who is unable to take part in the Workshops may indicate another person to participate instead. The Participant must inform the Organizer about such a change and obtain his approval. Participation of another person in the Workshops is possible after they have read and accepted the Regulations. For this purpose, they must provide the Organizer with a relevant statement to the email address specified in § 9 section 3 of the Regulations.
§ 7
Personal Data Protection
1. The Organizer declares that it is the personal data Controller within the meaning of Article 4 item 7 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (Official Journal of the EU L No. 119, p. 1).
2. The Organizer undertakes to process the personal data of Participants in accordance with the aforementioned regulation, as well as other generally applicable legal provisions.
3. The information clause is Annex No. 1 to these Regulations.
§ 8
Image
1. Participants consent to the Organizer taking photos during the Workshops and, in some situations, recording images and sound.
2. The above materials may be used by the Organizer for promotional and advertising purposes, including on the website and in social media related to the Workshops.
§ 9
Final Provisions
1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or change the date of the Workshops.
2. Applying for participation in the Workshops is equivalent to accepting these Regulations, which is further confirmed by the Participant by selecting “I have read the Regulations” at the end of the registration process.

4. The Organizer shall decide on matters not regulated in the Regulations.
5. The Regulations have been drawn up in Polish and English language versions. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish language version is binding.
Annex No. 1 to the Regulations
Information Clause
Based on Article 13 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR), I inform you that:
1. The Controller of your personal data is DRUMSETPRO Przemysław Bajer, ul. Harcerska 1, 41-500 Chorzów, NIP: 627-262-86-78. In all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of your rights related to data processing, you can contact via email: info@drumsetpro.pl.
2. Your personal data will be processed for purposes related to registration and payment for the Workshops, as well as for purposes related to advertising and promoting the Workshops. The legal basis for processing personal data is Article 6 section 1 item a of the GDPR – the data subject has consented to the processing of their personal data.
3. Your personal data may be transferred to other entities whose services the Controller uses in the process of registration and payment for the Workshops, as well as in the advertising and promotion of the Workshops.
4. Your data will not be transferred to recipients located in countries outside the European Union.
5. Your personal data will be processed until the end of the Workshops, and for a period of one year thereafter.
6. You have the right to access the content of your data and the right to rectify, supplement, delete, limit processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object.
7. You have the right to withdraw your consent, as mentioned in Article 6 section 1 item a of the GDPR, to process data at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the legality of the processing that was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
9. Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary for participation in the Workshops. If you refuse to provide personal data, the Controller may refuse your participation in the Workshops.
10. Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling.
